Hi guys.

A client of mine requested a nice flash intro page/splash screen for his new website redesign - I was always under the impression that it was best to steer clear of these kind of pages, and I told him so.

However, he then pointed me to two Hotel websites that use this technique, and they are doing very well within SERP's and Page Ranking.

The 2 sites are:

http://www.abamahotelresort.com/

How are they succeeding with the Flash elements on the page?

Help appreciated!

The flash intro pages are a FLASH version of the rest of the site. They are a wase of time and I would advise your client as such.
